Deputy Director's Message

I would like to welcome our fellow faculty members to the website of the Center for Teaching and Learning Development, where I have the honor to work and contribute to the achievement of its goals.
It was my pleasure to communicate with the Center when I co-presented a workshop through which I had the opportunity to get acquainted with its pioneering efforts towards the development of the skills of KAU faculty and graduate students. I then gained further experience and knowledge by exchanging visions and ideas with the members of the Permanent Committee until I was appointed Head of the Internet and Technical Support Unit at the Center. In 1434 I was honored to be appointed Deputy Director of the Center on the Women's Campus, which was when I began to fathom the extent of the responsibility its members must bear, the Center being a refuge for faculty and a source of development and support in pursuing better honed skills and developed abilities in the quest for educational, academic, and research development in higher education.
It was my responsibility to communicate with development units across KAU sectors to unify our efforts and compile a database of faculty trainers and trainees, which has led us to implementing development projects through the Center and achieving teaching and learning development at KAU.
It is for you and with you that I and all the Center's employees work, which is why we hope that you continue to offer your support and contributions by giving us your suggestions, reporting the training needs of those who benefit from the Center, offering suitable programs, following the Center's news and achievements and signing up for its available programs, and communicating with us through the available channels.
