It emphasizes the role of pioneering scientific research in the production of scientific knowledge of meticulous experimental nature, which has a profound impact on the continuation and renewal of cultures undertaking solving life problems of the society to ensure that our society reaches the desired progress in various fields.
King Abdul Aziz University realized the importance of activating this leading developmental role through harnessing the bulk of its efforts and its facilities to highlight its future identity as a thinking research university reaching out to serve the community and help it develop through excellent pioneering scientific research. The Center for Teaching and Learning Development- Female Section has been one of the university’s most important supporting sectors in this respect. It has specialized in promoting and encouraging all those who are interested in the development of university education issues and communicate with them through holding meetings and panel discussions that serve the development of the educational process development and encourage scientific research. These trends produced the center's most prominent activity: the Academic Production Forum. The Forum presents and discusses a selection of subsidized research works, which are published in indexed scientific journals, and holds workshops which contribute to the enrichment of the forum through their rich content. In addition, it displays some the scientific and literary books of female faculty members. These trends give a clearer vision towards the development of university teaching and learning at the national academic level.
Since 1426H/ 2005, the Center for Teaching and Learning Development has been organizing the forum every year under the auspices of his Excellency the Rector of the University and the supervision of the deputy director of the center for Teaching and Learning Development. It is implemented according to the work plan approved by the Commission on the preparation and coordination of the forum and with the cooperation of all the center’s affiliates and the support committees from all the university sectors and colleges, in line with the highest recognized Protocol standards for scientific forums. This is reflected positively in the excellent assessments of the forum over the past years.

The Scientific Committee works on the study and scrutiny of the research proposals and the selection of the ones which are in line with modern arbitration standards and tally perfectly well with the forum’s research axes and objectives.

Date of the Academic Production Forum
The Academic production Forum has been organized for eight consecutive years by offering a distinct research works, which have set a model to emulate to achieve leadership in scientific research. Their numbers has witnessed a steady increase until they reached 370 research works. This has been a proof of the interaction between those who are interested in the issues of developing the educational process and their hard work in helping the forum achieve its aspired objectives. The diversity of the presentation methods and interests of the research works have contributed to the simultaneous increase in the number of attendees the number of research works to reach 3058 people over the past eight years. This made us more confident about the importance of this event in improving the educational and research-based learning level for all.

The forum is held with the presences of invited keynote speakers who contribute through their distinguished participations that form distinctive landmarks in the history of the Forum. These were as follows:
• The participation of His Excellency Professor Amreen Siraj Abu Razizah with a lecture titled "Health water pollution" in the First Forum.
• The participation of His Excellency Dr. Hisham bin Abdullah Amin Gilani with a lecture titled "Air pollution" in the Second Forum.
• The participation of His Excellency Dr. Sami Ben Mohsen Angawi with a lecture entitled "Balance: Holistic thinking and interactive specialization" in the Third Forum
The participation of His Excellency Dr. Abdulmalik bin Ali Junaidi with a lecture entitled "The role of scientific research in the development of education as the basis for the renaissance of the community” in the Fourth Forum
• The participation of His Excellency Dr. Tariq ben Ahmed Madani with a lecture entitled "The pros and cons of the swine flu vaccine" in the Fifth Forum
• The participation of Her Excellency Dr. Samira Islam with a lecture entitled "The medicines or drugs: the way to the abyss of addiction" in the Sixth Forum
• The participation of Her Excellency Dr. Najia Zembaki with a lecture entitled "scientific research and patents" in the Seventh Forum.

The participation of the representative of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hussein Al Amoudi chair Her Excellency Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi with a lecture about the usefulness of her research experience in beating breast cancer.
•The Forum was supported by local newspapers through advertisement and publication. They covered the topic extensively and were present at the conference which was held at the end of the forum, which echoed positively at all levels of society from within and outside the university through the Thank-you messages received by the center every year and the comments that commend this event through social networking sites. All this boosts the determination of the organizers of the forum to ensure its success and to present it in an appropriate way that meets everyone’s aspirations.
